Digifort has a powerful video analytic module that used in conjunction with its client interface, will allow the monitoring to be more efficient and intelligent, helping the operators to obtain a greater ability to process claims and the detection of events. Developed for continuous operation, without the need for the operator’s constant attention. It is constantly analyzing programmed behavioral situations, it generates alarms according to events that are occurring at the time of operation, for example: a car exceeding a speed limit, a person entering a property, a car parked or stopped in a restricted area, an abandoned object, an object removed or even to alert about suspicious movement of people. Generates statistical reports and graphs for all events in the system such as counting objects and people, abandoned objects and face detection among others. It has several advantages such as: advanced algorithm for detection and tracking of objects, easy configuration and operation, efficient and uncomplicated solution. This module due to its high processing requirement needs its own server, which can process up to 30 cameras utilizing analytics. Licenses are sold per camera and can be used with any system camera, either IP or thru encoders. Analytics follow specific rules and require properly trained personnel in order to get the desired benefits, each analytical module has its characteristics and unique set up for its proper functioning such as: camera height, positioning, adequate lighting, customization rules.

The Digifort LPR can be used on highways, streets, parking lots, shopping malls, businesses, or anywhere that requires identification of the automobile license plate. It is an intelligent module that, using Optical Character Recognition (OCR) features for automatic character recognition, identifies vehicle license plates and stores them in a database for immediate or future searches, allowing them to be associated with any necessary event, Generate alarms or automate the environment. Possibility to determine which vehicles are authorized or not to enter an environment, open gates and gates automatically, applying traffic restrictions (stolen car, overdue IPVA, unpaid fines, among others), issuing alerts, enabling vehicle seizure, surrender of the vehicles. Passengers or any other measure deemed necessary. LPR is one of the main modules of Digifort software. It is used for automatic reading and recognition of license plates of vehicles. When a vehicle comes into the camera’s field of view, the software takes the picture that is used for image analysis including character recognition, then puts it into the database along with the date, time and location. Using different rules, the administrator can apply multiple filters, to search for: stolen cars, vehicles that do not have permission to travel on a specific route, vehicles do not have valid MOT or other certificates, uninsured vehicles, cars with unpaid parking fees and fines. To determine the moment of capturing the image with the registration plate, two methods are used: Virtual sensor. Virtual sensor is based on video motion detection. The moving car is detected as a moving object in the image, captured in a suitable way. This method eliminates a need to use additional equipment, however it consumes a certain amount of the server’s resources. Physical sensor. In this method, the moving vehicle is detected by infrared sensor(s), inductive loop or other devices capable of detecting moving vehicles. The sensors cooperate with the software through I/O modules. After detecting movement of a vehicle, the information is forwarded to the software, which results in capturing the image of the vehicle and starting the procedure of license plate recognition. This approach saves computational power of the server.

Digifort InSight module is a screen capture module that is capable of operating on any computer running the Windows operating system, which functions as an IP camera, encapsulating a camera license and generating video stream to the Digifort server containing the live video Of the screen of the desktop where it is installed. It allows the visualization in the Monitoring Client of Digifort as well as of all the monitors of the workstation in which it is installed, being able to display a set of screens in the grid interface, simulating a Video Wall, among several other solutions. Being commonly used in boxes or points of sale, it allows the recording of user actions on the screen in the form of video, as well as the monitoring and access of stations in places with little access. The system even provides remote control of the workstation, allowing to operate multiple systems from a single screen.

Digifort Face Recognition module can be used for various processes, such as: recognition of wanted or suspected individuals by the Police, identification in the retail area of suspected individuals who commit minor offenses. We can also work as an access control, allowing those registered in specific lists, to enter the locations through a “Smile Action”, which requires the individual to identify himself to the camera, and upon positive confirmation of his registration, perform a smile, so that the door can be opened, for an example. The Digifort Face Recognition module is a worldwide partnership between Digifort and the American company RealNetworks, with their SAFR module. This module enables face recognition with excellent accuracy and high reliability (currently measured and certified by the MIT in University of Massachusetts), with a 99.86% accuracy, providing the user important details regarding the identified personel, such as: Face Match: Biometry with Face detected and Face registered in the database; Approximate Age: Through Face identification the algorithm can indicate the age of the individual with a plus or minus margin of error of approximately 3 years; Gender: Also through the identified face tell which gender the individual belongs to; Feeling: We can tell which state the individual is emotionally in and can range from: Sad Nervous Neutral Happy Recognizing the face of a particular individual sometimes becomes crucial to the operation of a particular business and, it is important that such recognition is effective, due the alerts will be generated based on the information present in the database. With the module we can work 4 list models, and trigger events in VMS according to our need. Today these lists are: Permission List: Registered users with access to the site or locations; Restriction List: Registered users, and without access to the site or locations; Watch List: Registered users, but they must be accompanied on site, or places; Unrecognized List: Unregistered Users. As it is fully integrated with the Digifort camera monitoring system, all alarms available on our VMS can be triggered, making the operator immediately aware of the fact. When a suspicious face is detected, you can trigger audible warnings in the operating room, bring the person’s image, send an email, block turnstiles, among other possibilities. The system also has several types of research and reports, allowing better analysis of the facts.
